James Riepenhoff finished in third place at the district boys bowling tournament, qualifying for next weekend’s state tournament. James rolled a 229 in game 1 and followed it up with a 247 to put himself in great position, where he wrapped things up in game 3 to grab the third-highest spot on the board, enough to put himself in the field at next weekend’s State tournament in Columbus.
The rest of the team, which included Ryan Recker, Westin Young, Ian Friesner, Mitch Hoffman, Troy Hile and Marcus McGee, then bowled very well in the Baker games, ending up only 35 pins from making it to State as a team. The boys had a tremendous season, and hopefully James can cap everything off by bringing home some hardware next weekend. Great job guys!!!
